This was an extraordinary press conference. The warmth and respect was right up there. I do not think it was an act. He clearly wants to stay at the club and knew the history. I vaguely recall when he chose Leeds over Swansea.

To be the tp man he needs media training. I have mentioned to podcasters they need to look the camera in the eye and keep a fast tempo.

Martinez memorably said " I would not change one of my players for a Leeds player". I thought he was bonkers at the time.
