In my day, Every time the local newsagents advertised for a paper boy/girl, there was about a dozen youngsters lining up after the job, wouldn't happen these days. |  |

Sporting Post on a Saturday , green headliner and black ink all over my hands by the end or the night .
Had to get into the workies first before Cardiff Echo , The Pink arrived into my spot later that evening . Punters were great local boozers too with me going around yelling Sporting Post .
Bought my Yellow Puch 49cc moped on the commission earned from selling that paper .
Was never in fear of threats or violence as a kid walking through them places . felt safe .
