" The Brewers Fayre in Llansamlet and the Beefeater in SA1 are set to close after owners Whitbread announced they are to exit the restaurant business altogether".
Very popular and with in SA1 a Premier Inn next door someone hopefully may step in and take over the businesses. |  |

He still hasn't a clue about facts, they don't want to diversify into accommodation they have been involved in accommodation for over 25 years. In 2004 they bought Premier Lodge and added it to Travel Inn which they already owned and a couple of years later merged them and rebranded to form Premier Inn. This part of their business they have continued to expand and are currently aggressively expanding through Europe and particularly Germany. I am expecting them to sell this part of the business in 2-3 years. This business I know particularly well. |
It looks as if the shareholders are not going to support further expansion in Germany funded by the sale of the restaurants. The 5 year plan is looking as if it is going to fail. There will possibly be an early sale of the entire business including Premier Inns. Its all a bit up in the air at this minute and quite worrying for Premier Inn employees. |  | | |
