Harvey Elliott on loan at Aston Villa this season shows even loans from Liverpool can be hit or miss. After last seasons very poor loans (IMO) and several similar the season before (excluding O'brien) I won't be getting excited until I see them actually play. |  | | |

Agreed on the loans, they looked so good on paper, obviously Walta will be permanent. I think only Yalcouyé impressed. The rest were very indifferent. |  |

I agree Yalcouye impressed but for me it was only in spells. His sending off was a hard lesson for him and he seemed to get knocked off the ball and lose possession easily, but when he moved with the ball he was very good. These players come to learn not do us a favour by the parent clubs. Possibly I expect too much, but we used to have some excellent loans in the past. Thinking about it we have had some duds as well. | | | |

He wasn’t all that agreed but didn’t seem at all right after an incident at Luton.
Still at Liverpool. Had four loans since being at the Swans. Was then an England u21 international ? Only played five games for the Swans from his wiki.
Marc Guehi was getting stick after five games. Something obviously went wrong for Rhys but he’s still on the Anfield payroll. | |
