I've seen the same thing, but all the experts ive seen on both sides of the argument (its going to be good to its not going to be good for the human race if not handled correctly in the early stages) all say that the rapid pace that AI is developing is going to mean that it will outstrip humans in a very short space of time. | |

I remember a computer beating the world champion chess grandmaster, people thought a computer would never beat a world champ grandmaster but it apparently did, must be 25/30 years ago now, although the Russian did think that the Yanks behind the computer were cheating if I recall.

Im not sure if people realise that every message that they send and everything they post is now analysed and saved by AI. There is no real privacy even if you delete browsing history. I wonder if someone trying to post political opinions to get a reaction realise that if they continue to do this big brother might feel that they are worth watching more carefully.
