Lots of people on motorbikes are speed freaks therefore very dangerous people to have on the road.
I had a run in in a petrol station yesterday with two young bikers who jumped the queue ( big queue maybe because the prices are the cheapest in the area), these two bikers jumped the queue when I was next for petrol, I got out and told them there is a queue here, one drove go the back of the queue the other was reluctant, then when it was my turn to use the pump one of them came up to have a go (verbally but in a threatening way), I told him in no uncertain to get to the back of the queue.
At this stage everyone was looking out of the petrol station windows and people thanked me for standing up to them and putting them in their place.

Anyone who walks up to someone threatening gets a prompt lesson in manners. I’m surprised nobody backed you up when it mattered. Large queue etc. |  |

I was thanked in the garage when I went to pay but would anyone else have got involved if it had got out of hand, ? I don't know.
I think I did the right thing as everything turned out OK, they were publicly told off and went to the back of the queue where they should have been, but you can see how things could go wrong for somebody in a similar situation, when I initially told them to get to the back of the queue I might have caught them off guard, they could then probably then see I'm an older middle-aged guy with just my wife and then one of them came back up to me to have a go I fronted up and the biker backed down if it was somebody else and they hadn't fronted up they might have been in danger.
You can see how some people get themselves in a tight spot by doing the right thing. |  |
