He's trying to get a job that pays £100k a year. He's obviously not fit to do it. Intellectually or personally. If it was a normal job application process he wouldn't be shortlisted.

I've seen it mooted a lot lately and it makes perfect sense if you think about it that those on the left want to govern with their hearts, whilst those on the right govern with their brains.
This is a perfect example. This woman wants to be nice to migrants (or trans, or any other left wing cause) and her philosophy won't allow her to accept the downsides of them, no matter what the reality is. We have to "be kind", and it makes it easy for them to believe that anyone with opposing views is evil and shoot at them, as in the US.
For those on the right, migration is something good only if it's a net benefit to the nation, or that men obviously can't be women, and if it's not then tough shit. It's not our problem and clearly the figures/science confirm that whether it makes you feel good or not. This can make them come across as cold and callous to people's needs, but they justify it with logic. Facts trump feelings. [Post edited 7 Jun 13:11]
