At Bristol Airport what an absolute joke, you have to drop vehicle off at the short stay carpark and pay to park there, then make your own way to terminal with your luggage and when you return make your way back to short stay carpark to pick vehicle back up and then pay again to leave the car park, absolute rip off and a piss take.

We spoke with a couple from Liverpool who were staying at our accommodation. They had a taxi to and from the airport - said it was dead easy from start to finish. We are off in November and if Liverpool wasn't so far away would use that airport. May use the train option and airport flyer
We did use John Lennon airport once and agree it was great at the airport but it is a bitch of a drive even though it is only 175 miles (less than Heathrow)

I know we stayed overnight on the outskirts when we flew from Liverpool but it was so long ago I can't remember where.
