You have to be honest it could have been six as chances went begging in the second half but 0-3 away at Derby ? Yes we will all take that.  1

Not "could"... Should, and it should have been 4,5,6 with the chances we created.
Promising for this time of year and how well gelled we looked given the number of new recruits. Would love to see that intensity every week, we may not win them all but we'd win most playing that way.
All players can take a bow, but thought:-
Key showed his importance to the team. He's probably not going to be first choice week in week out but I thought he was very good defensively, in attack and came into midfield a few times to cover too. This is why we need a squad with players like Key.
Lissah - give him a 5 year contract now. So composed. I said I thought Cabango was good last few weeks but struggling to see how he gets back in as first choice CB with Lissah and Welsh both playing as they did today.
Welsh - what a signing. 3 Solid games, seems to always be in the right place and make the right decision. Could end up being signing of the season
Fulton - does what Fulton does best, Industrious and kept things simple.
Stamenic - his positioning and reading the game is very underrated. Number of interceptions he made and through ball attempts is exactly what you want with a player in that position. May have to share the time with Franco when he's back as it's a similar role but was excellent today.
Melker - so busy, this guy deserves 15 goals a season with the effort he puts in. Probably my favourite player.
Eom - I've had my doubts but watching him in person last week and today I can see he lacks no effort, he's more skillfully than I realised and I think he's really starting to grow in confidence and find his feet with better players around him.
Vip - should have scored, what I was most pleased about was his reaction when he didn't - he firstly looked devastated as if to say " I know I should have scored that" but didn't stop working after making same runs and helping the team out.
Ronald - so pleased for him, if that's his Swans Swansong what a way to say goodbye, similar to key - I think we need these players in the squad so when called upon you have that depth to bring quality on. Hopefully Opoku injury isn't serious but it may result in us holding off selling Ronald (for the time being).
Matos - got it right - well done Gaffer.
Vig, Tymon, Opoku, Yeo, Idah - all solid games (maybe doing them an injustice) but can all hold their heads up high in a fantastic team performance. | | | |

Ronald doesn't start for me (Opoku is showing why he's been brought in). He may not even make the bench sometimes... But I still think he's a valued squad member and if we can keep him motivated can do a job for us if/when called upon sparingly throughout the season. | | | |

After well documented issues that weren't football related last season he ended the campaign in good form, and he's started this one in the limited time he's had much the same way.
I think he'll probably make way for Lissah when other CB's are available, but I wouldn't lose sleep if he made a sustained sequence of starts. |  |

I just don’t think Key is a good enough defender. Not consistently anyway.
It’s a bit of Fulton Syndrome maybe where however he does there’s always a bit of nervousness when his name is announced. That is diminishing game by game though.
Key had a great game today and if he plays like that week in, week out there’d be no complaints from me. Whether he can is a valid question though. | |

Nothing changes , my only slight disappointment is the coverage post match by Radio Wales , fair play we win and score 3 goals conceding nil but the focus has been and continues as I post on cardiffs draw , good thing on reflection I suppose as it keeps hopefully our feet on the ground as there an awful long way to go yet and keeps us under the radar . | |

That was the difference in his game right there. He gave the winger little room. Too many times in the past he’s stood to far back from his man giving them the freedom of the city.
