The fact is if we got relegated could we afford a decent u23 squad. Could we afford to maintain the academy. The time when we would need these things the most is when we could lose them. Relegation would come at an incredible cost and anyone who thinks the parachute payments will be our salvation are living in cuckoo land. |  | | |

We also need to get the loan moves sorted if these players are to improve.
Our loan players are not playing for weeks on end. Such a shame. |  |

It's going to take relegation (and resultant clear out of the dross) for the talented kids we've got to be given a fair chance in the first team.
