Who are paying the bills for the Swansea ladies team? Is it all covered in Sponsorship deals etc.? I presume thaey are all amateurs

Went down 3-0 this afternoon.

Welsh Premier Women's League champions Swansea City Ladies are out of the Champions League after defeat by Apollon Ladies.

Rio Hardy put the hosts ahead after five minutes.

The Cypriot side doubled their lead in first half stoppage time when Gemma Border put the ball in her own net.

Krystyna Freda put the tie beyond the Welsh side's reach early in the second half with Apollon's third goal at the GSZ Stadium in Larnaca.

Swansea were crowned Welsh Women's Premier League champions after the 2019-20 was halted due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ian Owen's team were cleared to travel to Cyprus by the Welsh Government despite the firebreak lockdown in Wales.
