In any stadium you are sat within 2 metres of maybe 9 other people who are all, at some point going to sing/shout/cough or sneeze. Alcohol certainly won't help.

It shows the cowardice of Johnson, unwilling to be brave enough to save more deaths by protecting us from ourselves. We cannot behave,we cannot control,we cannot be responsible,we don't like wearing masks, keeping distance and do everything to avoid the truth, which is we are killing ourselves by self. Alcohol is pre eminent in our society. South Africa has banned the sale of it all for now. Now ,farking football i seen as that important we can rip up the guidelines to see England in a football tournament. People will die because of this, but it' ok as most be be old anyway. We are screwed, make no mistake. This will never go away.

Each to their own. I'm late 60s and had my jabs. This virus and mutations will probably be around for the rest of my lifetime. I just want to crack on and enjoy the time I have left. I'd rather take my chances than spend the rest of my life worrying and hiding.

To be honest the point is coming when we will just have to accept living with it. Wewill be vaccinated annuallly and we will just have to accept the risks and take what chances we, as individuals, decide are acceptable. As time passes medical knowledge will lessen the risks further and besides, I am at the point where I would rather get on with life than live life than way it has been the last 18 months. Even if that means wearing a mask in enclosed spaces. I'm looking forward to getting back down the Liberty though a fireign holiday can still wait. I'm lookingb forward to having friends around for a poker night. It's not that I want to catch covid but carrying on like this isn't living.

That point is 17 days away. Even if we continue with more restrictions in Wales the impacts in releasing restrictions in England will be seen here. It's a case of get vaccinated or take the consequences. Rightly or wrongly the pandemic is considered over in England on July 19th.

Yes and those who refuse the vaccination will feel the consequences more strongly than the rest of us. I'm sure plenty of them will question their choices when they're in ITU. England on the 19th, the pandemic won't be over and we'll probably see another wave but hopefully those of us who are jabbed will only see mild symptoms if we catch it. Life is for living, the last 18 months, as neceassary as it was, has been like a slow death for very many of us. Maybe the powers that be will realise that from ow on any plans, new public buildings, any public spaces will need to be planned differently in preparation for more times like this, or maybe a new, more dangerous variant. The world needs to change. We can't let the tich and powerful hog all the space anymore, we have to be fairer.

Death is part of life though, none of us know when our time is but it's as natural and necessary as breathing. Maybe it's just nature deciding we live too long or there's too many of us. nature has a natural balance but humanity has managed to largely overcome that. Maybe nature is trying to redress the balance?
