How Poyet never ended up here is a mystery.
He did a massive job as Denis Wise’s assistant when they went to Leeds and every club he has been number one has played exactly the style we’d hope for here. I went to Brighton when he was manager there and the way they played was phenomenal. That rumour about him taking a shit in the away team dressing room follows him around even though it’s nonsense.
