Less concerned than I might have been two years ago. Knows the club, knows a lot of the players. Would have developed as a coach here back in the days when us playing attractive football was still a thing. Did very well in a tough situation in Cyprus. |  |

It's always a gamble but he was responsible for many of the young players who came through in recent years and may be worth a punt.
If we're talking connections then maybe he hasn't as many as Cooper but I can't be sure. I'm sure he made a few through his Dad, some will still be around but if we're looking more at developing our own youngsters he could be the right person.

that worked as he cam back to a team where a lot of players already knew him had played with him at our lowest ebband he knew the strengths and weaknesses of those players and how he could get things to work> he also did this in LG one
we are now in the championship>>>we tried this experiment in the premier when we gave the gig to MONK who was part of that era of golden play under Roberto and Brendan yet what happened? Cooper has been derided but i still say he was making the most of what he had this season we have added Walsh who appears more creative and attacking supposedly Piroes and Kyle Joseph so we have more options than last year along with a returning Cullen and Whittaker>>maybe we would have seen adifferent style who knows but it doesnt mean by using one of these explayers we will easily return to that style we enjoyed back then it was all about a combination of things circumstances are not the same today | |

There is no evidence to say that he made the most of what he had or that he overachieved. Love if the swans isn’t solely about league position for all of us fans, and if it was there would be more love for Garry Monk, being that he was our most successful Premier League manager. | |
