In certain cases it seems that Russell Martin’s continued links with ex players at MK Dons are causing some concern amongst swans fans. And you can see why, to an extent. But it’s only fair we examine, and try and understand why this is happening.

I’m not overly concerned where we sign players from provided they’re able to play football at a good enough level that fits in and adds to the system that the current and future managers choose to play.

Given that pretty much (nearly) everyone understands that we’re laying the foundations for a concerted effort next year that’s where our focus should be, so we need to be recruiting for long term not just loaning players until the end of the season.

Swansea city do not have any ex MK Dons players as far as I am aware. If they are young improving and already in tune with Martin's philosophy then there is not a lot to be worried about.

One likes to think there were no philosophical differences between Martin and Scott that led to Scott leaving and the Swansea are still able to find Euro talent like Piroe again without Scott.
