He’s definitely not happy, and let’s be honest these mistakes last night and at Blackpool can’t be put down to him, these are professional footballers and it’s all they do day in day out. Nobody can tell me Naughtons clearance was him trying to play to Martin’s style. Plus smith getting knocked off the ball in midfield for the first. And the goal on Saturday ? Was that as a result of our passing game ?
These players need to wake up more than Martin.

If a reliable member of a team starts making errors, it's usually for one of three reasons:
- their focus is wrong
- they don't understand what they are supposed to do
- they are not the right person for the job

Dont agree
The whole team faff about and gets itself into trouble.
In those defensive dander areas we are appalling and the players clearly play tippy tappy.This cannot be of tbeir choice surely. Most defenders by nature imply boot the ball safe. We do not.
That is 100% down to Martin.
He should be looking at himself and how he selects the team and what tactics they employ. | |

Not at all, they don’t play the same way.
They are far more direct and moved away from suicidal football.
It’s very easy to take credit for someone else’s achievements. He was there for a season and a half and didn’t get higher than 13th. The second he leaves and a new manager sorts what wasn’t working then they suddenly get the league position to reflect their squad.
They have around 57% possession now, under Martin they had 64%. Their shots are way up and their pass numbers down.
The new manager is doing what we have suggested, taken focus off possession and pass numbers and instilled direct football.
