| A word about Luton 08:09 - May 14 with 1090 views | onehunglow | I know it might be painful but we should recognise what this club have done under the valley warrior. Virtual oblivion to the brink of the Prem. Remarkable stuff and no doubt the players have bought into NJ in a big way. Huddersfield have their work cut out still to extinguish their sheer spirit. Jones is almost as ugly as fellow valley boy Steveo and his chewing habits are pure Franck but no doubt he is a very competent and astute manager. | |

morning He is one of those guys you hate as opposition yet want as your own. He is full on,sparky ,feisty and obnoxious too. These are attributes in football and Thomas Franks ,I hate to say,has it in spades, the preening camel he is.

My feelings for Cooper have been expressed to death on here, but as my mate was saying on the way to Forest ( and especially on the way back ), he doesn't care who is in charge as long as they get us promoted. For me personally, it has to be entertaining too, but if any manager could achieve promotion and be good to watch, it would be the dream for me. I would not care if that were Martin, Cooper, Jones, Franck, or whoever else. Getting to the EPL has to be our aim

By some but many pundits believed we were well set. After the first game though...

There have been numerous managers in the past who have been the same. Eddie Howe is one.

Yes, his Burnley stint was similar. It would be interesting to hear Jones take on his time at Stoke - the honest off the record version rather than the one served up for the media!

If our main aim is getting to the Premier League there will constant misery. It should be an aim to do the best we can and that might lead to promotion. Personally I'd rather have good football and decent Championship finishes than going up and scraping 5 wins.

I certainly wouldn't want to follow the Norwich model

Well the ix Finer don't seem to mind. Their stadium is always sold out and there is always interest there.

For personal family reasons, I missed out on seeing Swans playing away at the top level both under Tosh and in the EPL. I would personally love the opportunity to see my club play at the top level home and away for at least one season. There is no guarantee that if we stay in the Championship the football will be entertaining, with good football and decent finishes. Likewise, just like when we went up in 2011 and some doomongers predicted a quick return and weekly hammerings, that is not guaranteed either
