What I admire about Martin is his diplomacy. Because surely that is not what he said to the team in the dressing room. Surely not!
Woodman had 2 ‘saves’ to make. Well he just happened to be in the line of the ball on both occasions.
The lads were magnificent tonight. No, they weren’t.
We needed more runners, more urgency. I saw nothing on the pitch last night that looked like it was worked in in the training pitch,
Martin)s team has trouble breaking teams down usually because we go at it stubbornly they same way every game. There needs to be drill worked on on the training pitch which allows runners and decoys to move and get behind defences. No sign of it,.
These are the criticisms I have of Martin. He’s not coaching in the true sense he’s just trying the same thing over and over. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t and that’s when a plan B is needed.

Was that the reason Arsene Wenger had to go at Arsenal, at the end of his time there, he wanted the perfect ball into box and didn't shoot from the edge of the box. Nice to have perfect goal, if there is such a thing but more goals are created by pressure applied and mistakes made by defenders inside their penalty area.
So more risky shots from outside the box More risky passes into the box and more risky running with the ball at players to take them on and into the box AND No more risky passes in our defensive third, giving the player receiving the no options or time to deal effectively with the incoming pass especially when the player passing can deal with it in te first place!

Dead right to say we take more risks near our penalty area than that of our opponents.

Hard to know to say really, isn’t it ,though good to see fans not engaging in nasty speech even when they disagree . We need to support Russell ,stop the winging and give him a Ten year contract and he will make us a proper club . We are 6 th in the league ( 2nd Nov) What do our fans want ?

Get behind the lads
There has been some poor first half performances of late. He has time now to work on that although I would have expected that to have been better than it is by now. Three losses in the last eleven games is what I would describe as an expected run of form based on the time Martin has had to introduce his style and vision.
The last two games we have been far too complacent and ponderous.
I expect a return to form on Saturday then we have two away games before the World Cup. That should earn us four points at least as a minimum. We always said there would be an assessment of his time with us by the World Cup break.
And of course we will give our assessment as will others come that time.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Bloody hell, were you drunk when you wrote that?
Go to the game last night Richard, virtually across the road from you?
