I'm more with this. He's not happy here and needs to go.
Don't understand the views that he's not good enough for the championship but we should expect a large fee for him.

This would be the case no matter who he signs for even more so if Piroe is also leaving. Let’s be honest he wasn’t given much of a chance with us but he was extremely disappointing ( very poor) in the few appearances that he made in the second half of the season.

Keith said he had an injury, we were all saying Ben was on his way out for missing the last game.
These pre season games are all about fitness, let's hope the yanks see this as a sign of things to come and back Duff 110%
The two sides we put out could be a starting 11 the championship.
We just need another 3/4 players through with experience and I think we will be challenging. We need cover left/right back , keeper and another CB .
If the squad stays the same of course anyone who leaves must be replaced on top of the 3/4 players that we need. | |

Rooney, Cooper, Martin perhaps now Duff were not promoters of the player. It could be the club ownership group want the cash to pay the rates and told Watson and Duff not to make him part of their plans. |  |

This could be why Whitts will be sold, alongsde Piroe. Duff wants the money because he has players in mind. Players who definitely fit his style and although I think he was handled badly by Martin one thing that cannot be disputed is Whittaker has a poor work ethic. Maybe his relationship with Martin caused that, maybe he didn't want to be here and seemingly enjoying his time in Plymouth, not wanting to come back but being forced to caused further acrimony.
If we can get close to 15 million for the two and Duff is allowed a good chunk then I am hopeful that we'll challenge this season. | | | |
