People think they can post what they like on social media, they don’t seem to realise the effect. Good mate of mine does his due diligence on new employees on all social media platforms. He says it’s rife even amongst alleged intelligent graduates with Oxbridge qualifications.
He actually now has a diligence officer for just this role, his point is very clear. He is certain if they didn’t and someone slipped through the net and then caused harassment or whatever in the workplace his name and of course good standing would be in question. He could even be sued. The declarations new employees sign are extremely comprehensive and signed with a local solicitor acting as a notary. |  |
