They are of a generation where is is normal to see both male and females, whether able bodied or not competing at the highest level. The younger girls are so inspired its so different to when I was young.

| FIFA Women's World Cup 2023™ on 15:53 - Jul 20 with 2002 views | SullutaCreturned | I usually struggle to watch any game if it's not the Swans so I'll have a look but may not watch very long. I'm really quite interested to see how Cheryl Foster gets on. Ex player turned official, it may be a lesson for the men, if they want better officials then step up, just not into punditry! | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I have a bee in the bonnet about the so called "Welsh way" as if it was similar to the "Swansea way". The "Swansea way" is real the "Welsh way" is a myth. I would expect the Swansea ladies to play a possession based game like the men's team. The badge on the shirt must mean something. If the ladies cannot try to play with the club philosophy then go independent like Millwall ladies did. The London ladies did not like the club philosophy. Having watch a talented Welsh side humiliated by a vastly superior footballing team from Armenia I have started calling out the FAW for action. I would therefore expect the ladies team to o go to USA and give them a game. Perhaps they play the "Welsh way"? OK they lost 1-0 which is fair enough. But they had 25% possession. Welsh teams under Mooney are low risk, low ambition and defensive Low technical park the bus sides. That is what Gary Speed inherited. World ranked 120+. If Wales play EPL lower league style (Page) they have to park the bus because good technical teams will take them apart if they are brave. Wales 2-4 Armenia. No big stars but technically superior.
