My thoughts exactly . For me a punishing session like that is too close to game time on Saturday. Liverpool under Shankley were masters of training hard but resting up well before match day . I hope this doesn't come back to bite us . | | | |

Unsure how they recuperated today or indeed what plans there are for tomorrow . But Duff has highly qualified staff to assess and guide him through his training sessions. In this day and age you would expect it to be an exact science and spot on. |  |

Well why do so many managers complain about 2 games a week if they are being pushed so hard in training mid week? Some of them will work harder in training than in a match, it doesn't make sense.
They should be fit enough now and what I saw at WBA was a team fitter than the same time last season, have their poor performances been because of too much training, being pushed too hard and having no energy left for the matches that come thick and fast right now. | | | |
