Informing the world with thing they do not need to do know while inferring criticism of the leadership of the FAW. He does it in the knowledge he has a FOUR YEAR contract. generously given to him by the man he has not spoken to for 5 weeks.
Page has to get to the Euros to save his job. Two wins against a poor Armenia team and a Turkiye team that has already qualified.

Page is entering Russ Martin territory.

There is clearly a mole in the FAW with contacts to the Sun newspaper who I would not think are natural soul brothers of Welsh sport.
Mooney has said Page and the team has to perform and in that respect the "leak" or deliberate leak" has worked.
The Sun said this
As reported last month, SOURCES AT the FAW have indicated Mooney's high risk strategy had banked on Wales reaching major tournaments and copying the success of qualifying for the Euros in 2016 and 2020 as well as Qatar.
Wales have been cost-cutting on hotel stays and opposition analysis in recent times and it is questionable that the FAW have the finances to stump up a compensation package for Page. But Mooney is keen to move the focus on the manager's position and take the attention away from his own role within the watching eyes of the FAW.
I wonder who the sources are? Some coward or Mooney himself? Mooney will not want his notionally confidential views plastered all over the press unless the leak was deliberate.

Mooney may have bitten off a bit more than he can chew on this.
And the FAW has more moles than a moley thing.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
So one of the FAW board is a mole for "The SUN" . I am not a media sort or into Journalistic ways but can I assume the FAW mole would have received financial or other benefits for this leak?.
I must admit I have deep sceptisms o for all Welsh committees be it WRU the SCST or the FAW. I want accountability.
