| Could be something to cheer about on 18:42 - Jan 22 with 2185 views | Dr_Winston | A club where he can get used to the bustle of the English leagues, and where the head coach, a fair chunk of his staff plus two prominent first team players are all Portugese speakers is probably not a bad place for a young Brazilian to spend six months on loan. Wouldn't bet against that being a factor in Brentford's thinking, especially as he doesn't appear to be anywhere near fluent in English. | |

Excellent point but I hope there’s more to it than that. I may be in the minority but I’m not that enamoured by Yalcouye. He came here with all the plaudits from Brighton fans but hasn’t the physicality for The Championship. Hopefully he won’t be another like that.

He can play though, still young enough to gain physical attributes and its not all about physicality anyway.

It’s not all about it you are right but you need a fair amount of it in The Championship as we see week in, week out.

I agree with you about Yalcouye. In my opinion he does the pretty stuff on the ball but is not physically strong enough and doesn't work hard enough. In time this could change but he is not doing it for us. Is this the reason a player with allegedly an abundance of talent doesn't currently start for us.

Yalcouye's number one skill appears to be falling over. He wins a decent number of free kicks but falls over at the slightest touch. He is a long way from a Premier league regular

Has the club managed to send Benson going back to Burnley as a result of Nunes arriving?
| Could be something to cheer about on 07:31 - Jan 23 with 1353 views | Dr_Winston | I don't think physicality is Yalcouye's problem. It's the pace of the game. He does a lot of good stuff and then gets caught in possession because he doesn't release the ball soon enough. That's the sort of issue best caused by experience, which he's not really getting because he's in and out of the side. | |

| Could be something to cheer about on 12:33 - Jan 23 with 1004 views | KeithHaynes | Swansea City and their new ‘fiery player’ Plus transfer dateline 23rd Jan 2026 11:42It’s always slightly humorous when those outlets out there go for the clicky stories that trawl in views based on not a lot. We tend to look at the obvious within these rumours and then review the information via a more level headed approach to Swansea City reporting. If you don’t shout your own corner when nobody else does then expect features that qualify our reporting history. 0 | |
