I don't bet, but I pay more attention to what the bookies say than any pundit. They have actual real money at stake.

They never get the odds far wrong in sports.

Normally a bookie will lay it off, so they get the same percentage whoever wins. It used to be 13%, but I'm not up to date on the figure now.

But then the odds would crumble if they do well.

At 8/1 at this point of the season it's tempting. But please gamble responsibly and only bet with what you can afford to lose.

Tempting odds haven't had a good bet for a long while not including the Lottery but if Tusedays game is anything to go by we seem to have some favourable referee's decisions maybe because our defense played higher up the pitch at times and any contacts made were dismissed or being higher ùp the pitch which meant those dangerous whipped in in crosses were few and far between, the impetus we built meant advantages played or let go a little longer to give us the advantage either way. Very reminiscent of the season we got promoted to the Premier League we gain decisions that seemed out of our reach previously and the opposition being penalised instead of us.
Hopefully playing on the front foot will keep decisions in our favour and a little bet may be on the cards. Does help that our team looks stronger this season, early days!
