Swansea City : Matos plans ahead with a potential new right back selection 22nd Sep 2026 08:00
The latest word on Josh Key is that his injury, believed to be thigh-related, will take longer to recover from than first expected. He underwent a second scan on Thursday afternoon, which resulted in him being unavailable for Saturday’s win at Lincoln City. 1

We are, who would you drop for him. Our midfield is better without him. FB I would rather the £10M in the bank as I prefer Key and Lissah because thats a lot of wedge for a 3rd choice troublesome fullback.

Honeslty Estaq isn't a bad replacement but I'd still have Eth in his place. My post was more tongue in cheek with him not liking playing at RB

Fair enough but we are better off without him, for team harmony and spirit if nothing else.

I can assure you the Swans were very relieved as was Josh Key.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Estaq will prove to be a top player for us
Galbraith is very talented however his ship has sailed
All players are passing through our great club
All are lucky to have that privilege

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Hi Keith, that would be very surprising if the club were relieved, considering he was an outstanding performer last season.

He is a very good player but there is a suggestion in a lot of the comments I've read that there might have been issues behind the scenes.

I think it’s time we suggested a few scenarios. But there are legal issues so we will have to take advice. Same with Monga.
