French School Riots and Social Media 22:17 - Oct 1 with 1254 viewsJACKMANANDBOY

I had a note from an old work colleague who lives in Paris.. French social media is awash with guides to how to demonstrate at your school including setting bin fires and vandalism of non essential premises. What prompted her to drop me a line was that she received five such guides on her social media feeds in a day.

So far 900 schools have been attacked, with some politicians encouraging the demonstrations.

Indeed. They are all out with their Moroccan, Algerian and Palestinian flags. They were spraying Free Palestine on the walls. They were chanting we are all children of Gaza. I am not sure how the BBC will be able to show this!
They put a few fire engines ablaze, the irony being that the firefighters didn't have anything to put the fire out!
The worst part for me was when they were chasing a policewoman down the street and beat her to the ground. I know we must have equal rights and can't have sex discrimination, but this was a job for burly policemen.
I'm glad to say that the French MP was driven back by the police shields, despite protesting that he had parliamentary exemption!
I wonder which country is next???

Apparently (*cough, cough, cough*) they are protesting about teacher absence levels and the state of classrooms and facilities, by viciously and gratuitously assaulting teachers and destroying education/school system property.

Now that is really going to retain and attract (this is what you'll be teaching folks!) more to the teaching profession, and setting fire to the school piano i.e. up's the ambience when C Major is being played and provides better acoustics, because the partition wall has been raised to the ground?

And how times have changed, in my day they used to confiscate clackers and stink bombs, never used to be Molotov Cocktails that the kids bring into French schools nowadays?

Those were the days when mayors had a sense of civic duty that could not in anyway be associated with anarchy, race riots and destruction for the sheer hell of it.

That sense of duty about as out of fashion as 'clackers'?

There's a video doing the rounds of a kid burning a school teachers face with flames coming out of a spray can. Looks like a deodorant can spayed over a cigarette lighter to cause the flames. Horrific.

That incident alone is going to put force nine wind into the sails of parties like National Rally and AFD (and others) whose voters fear societal collapse within their own countries!

It's interesting that we are told that the rise of AFD is all about nasty right wing Nazis.

Dig around German politics and you'll find the role that Gerhard Schroeder has played in making Germany reliant on gas and Russian Gas in particular, it's absolutely incredible.

People are angry with the the previous establishment for their self serving incompetence.

They all mocked Trump when he gave them stick for their overreliance on Russian energy. Guess he was right.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

The article I posted is 20 years old

The problem was staring the Germans in the face then, only in the last couple of years have they started to react.

The new Welsh are a coming, in droves .
