The news we have is that Jeremy Monga could well make the bench after knuckling down in training over the past week or so. 1 Tough runs, click above.

| 25% of the season gone this weekend: Swans injuries & fixtures that matter on 07:21 - Oct 23 with 805 views | jack247 | Great news about Monga. Shame for Ronald. The run of fixtures from now until the end of November will really show where we are. Plenty of people (football accounts on social media mainly) have repeatedly pointed out we’ve had a kind run of fixtures and it’s a fair observation. Three of the next four away, two of which against contenders, then West Brom, Middlesbrough and the derby. My guess is we won’t still be top by the end of that, but we’ll be within touching distance and in a group that will have started to pull away. Nowhere to hide. This is Matos’ opportunity to force everyone to take us seriously. | | | |

Monga is a homegrown player and if he had knuckled down would have been on the bench before now. Last week we were struggling for homegrown players and put Woodward and Heywood on the bench to comply. Its up to Monga now its his place to lose.

It’s hard to put yourself in the position of a seventeen year old moving to a new club and city where he doesn’t know anyone, with the burden of massive expectations. Whatever the rights and wrongs of it, if we’ve now reached a breakthrough and he’s going to be eased into contention, it will be like a new signing just as we’re going into a really difficult looking run. If he lives up to his reputation, our wing options will be frightening.

It is not too much to expect someone to get out of bed and go to training, incidentally he is not expected to make his own way to the training ground. The club have provided him with a full support package which his parent club fully support. Well done to both clubs for reaching a resolution.

The thing.is we as a club i suspect are one the best out there for support, especially for a youngster on loan. We have a welcoming manager and coaching team who only want to make our players better. Plus we have a great support, if you show great effort you will be welcomed, if you show promise and play well you might get a song about you 😀

We don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. I very much doubt he’d rather be locked up at home than playing football. Both clubs have evidently decided it’s worth persevering with.

From a reliable source allegedly it is correct and that person has a good understanding of what is happening behind the scenes.

I’m not suggesting the reports he hasn’t been turning up to training aren’t true. I mean we don’t know what’s going on for him personally to make him act the way he has been. Plenty of high profile players have suffered like this before. Whatever it is, it seems to have been managed well or he’d be back at Man City. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I looks as if the situation has improved and he is being included in the match day squad this can only be a good thing. Hopefully his presence will improve us.
