Certainly less pressure on him at Palace. Even if they go down, he probably won't get all the blame. Managing Newcastle must be a thankless task - a set of fans that think they have a divine right to be successful, but without anything to back it up.

no way of knowing, relegation will always be a possibility....... and if that was to happen i'd feel far more confident with the current set up running things than outside investment

Some fair points but it's wildly inaccurate to suggest they regular get 50K,. If they do well they get good crowds but mid 30s at best most of the time.
