And neither were bad efforts either, genuinely the only time I remember us having a go. And on the subject, I think barrow is class, but why does he consistently beat players just end up either fecking it up or a diabolical cross? I thought Naughton's effort was going in until Llorente got in the way.

If we weren't having any chances then we would have a problem. Don't think we will see much from llorente until Gylfi is up to speed. Our wingers can't cross, they shouldnt bother be more effective looking for the cut back, never seem to have players in the box either. |  |

With he way Hull we're defending today, chipping/floating the ball in was easy meat for them. We'd had been best served hitting the ball at pace across the six yard area, especially in the last 30 mins. Would have created chaos. [Post edited 20 Aug 2016 19:18]

Agreed. We have been guilty of this for too long. Hard and low balls at West Ham had devastating results. Imagine West Brom.... they would be pissing themselves. | | | |

Hopefully we'll see that when Borja is fit. Don't think our wingers are suited to crossing for Llorente. Think he will thrive off 1-2's with Gylfi. Probably be better off playing inside forwards rather than wingers. | |
