Zonal marking ain't working. Someone running in jumps higher than standing defender yet again. Just waiting for opposition to score from them in every game.

Home Cinema set up question
at 12:25 31 Jul 2017

I have some SACD 's that I have never played. I have 2 Sony blu ray players that will play these CD's but I'm thinking that I will need to buy a 5:1 set of speakers and a suitable amp/receiver to get the best out of them. Has anyone got any ideas ? I'll be looking to buy on ebay.

Easy Diet.
at 16:36 26 Jul 2017

Reading about Mr Sumbler inspired me to have a go myself.

Began 10th July. 86.4kg. Just over 13st 8lb.

Today 26th July. 81kg. Just over 12st 10lb.

I have half a red grapefruit for breakfast and have cut out bread (although I'll have the occasional wholemeal sandwich) pasta, crisps, chocolate, potatoes and alcohol (only used to have a glass of red wine with my meal anyway) and that's it.
I have also forgone any cake/biscuits that I'd eat with one of my 5 coffees a day. I have a bad hip so any exercise has been out so it's all down to those carbs.
I've also noticed that I can now walk easier and with a lot less pain. Going to continue for another couple of weeks until the Southampton game.

What I'm trying to say is if you're thinking of losing a few pounds just have a go at this. Easy to do.

"Would you like your bags packed ?"

"No thank you." ( I hate anyone packing my shopping ).

"What are you collecting for ?"

(They were girl guides and if it was a good cause then I'd still give a donation)

Redundancy question
at 19:12 25 May 2017

My work place are making some people redundant. However, those that joined the company before 2009 and are over 41 will receive 3 weeks per year of service but those over 41 that joined after this date will only receive the government minimum of 1 1/2 weeks per year. Is this legal ?

Good interview with PC on Soccer AM
at 11:10 20 May 2017

Quite funny as well. Someone sent him a mug that said Keep Calm and Play Britton. Claude Makelele actually phoned PC saying he thought he could come here and make a difference. Sounded like we won't be getting Terry.

Worth a watch.

Looking to book Venice for May, anyone been ?
at 21:03 10 Apr 2017

Missus would like to go there and we can fit three days in between Sunderland and West Brom.

Was looking at staying on the Lido to escape the hustle and bustle and I can also dip my pinkies in the sea or are we better off being in the city amongst it all ?

Any suggestions gratefully welcomed.

Nothing about Marriner ?
at 21:02 11 Mar 2017

Not long got back but can't find anything about the ref. At 0-0 N'Diaye, who was already on a booking cynically takes out Sigy, I think, who is going towards goal . The ref gives a foul but not a booking because i think he realises he will have to send him off. Fer protests but nothing happens, apart from Marriner then going to N'Diaye in the wall and giving him a talking to. N'Diaye is then replaced immediately by Niasse who goes on to score two goals.

Wasn't it shown on the streams ?
