Tommy Lawrence RIP 10:01 - Jan 23 with 2182 viewsSTID2017

Ex Liverpool Keeper played against us in Swans famous 1964 FA Cup win at Anfield.
The fact that won the League Title that season puts that result into some context.

Lovely story here about him:

After that match the legend that is Bill Shankly said to the Swans - "Your keeper - name your price". Noel Dwyer. I remember the Kop throwing money at him (and not in a bad way).

Yes it was a mighty performance that day. At the end of the match, the Kop gave Noel Dwyer a standing ovation and he took a bow.
