Burmese Pork curry

Chilli
Ginger
Garlic
Tumeric
1 Large onion diced
mushrooms (optional)
Tin chopped Tomato's
Diced pork

Gently fry off onion, chilli ginger and garlic (I never use measurements just bung it in) add mushrooms cook few minutes more, stir in ground tumeric (again I tend to use 1/2 teaspoonsful) and cook it out.

Cover with water and bring to boil, add tomato's and diced pork bring back to the boil, turn down and gently simmer until pork tender and juice has reduced and nice and thick(ish) prob 35/40 mins
Serve with Basmati rice (with fresh coriander running through it and pitta bread, well thats what I do)

You might make it and think its not a curry more a stew maybe, however no one whose eaten hasn't liked it, it's a winner trust me, simple but tasty, been making it nigh on 25 years

The hair and the beard have gone I am now conforming to society, tis a sad day The b*stards are coming back though

Cheers Paul, got all of that around me so will give it a bash.

I consider you as the appointed chef of PS based on your tales of home cooked dinners.
