Indeed. Nicander gave a perfect view of the Vetch There used to be a nice bench behind Mayhill School too, overlooking the east of Swansea, docks and Kilvey Hill. But that got burned down, naturally | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Occasionally, after a row with the ex, I used to sit up there at night, chomping peanuts and guzzling cans of Tennants Super, watching the brightly-lit Inter City 125s far below, sliding into High Street station. After which I'd stumble down past the Jewish cemetery and get a swift one in the Farmer's Arms in Northill. Thank God I've moved on. Certainly some great views from the hills of Swansea, and perfect for melancholy reflection. | | | |
