Absolutely indefensible , if that's what they're like what the f goes on behind the closed doors and blinds. I do hope this isn't forgotten and the daughter pursues this all the way .

Wow, you absolutely can see why she was taking her away. Perhaps now this video is out there, the people who were critical of her can see the other side.

Old lady in care home, looks to be in a bad way, carers have her by a window talking to her daughter who wants medical help for her as she is going blue around her mouth. Carers lower the blinds and wheel her away. Apparently it’s same mother and daughter in the car park when the police arrested the daughter for trying to take her mother home [Post edited 9 Dec 2020 18:48]

There has to be more to this than we are told and I'm pretty certain the care home can't comment publicly because of data protection. Wasn't the daughter a nurse? So she should know the rules and about duty of care? Legally speaking, if the daughter had a cae why hasn't she involved a lawyer? There's just too much we don't know.

I'm not sure of the laws regarding parents in care homes, but shouldn't it be a case if you are unhappy with the care they are receiving, you can just take them home and say FU to the care home? [Post edited 9 Dec 2020 23:52]

Nope in many cases that’s the doctors decision.

Maybe not. It depends why she;s in the care home. Is the daughter the mothers legal guardian? If not she won;t have the right to remove her without the guardians say so and the mother is there because a court ordered it then it's up to the court. https://www.carehome.co.uk/adv
