A postponement 14:21 - Dec 18 with 742 viewsonehunglow

Of tomorrow's game would be a bonus ,for me,allowing us to ret the players a little and have them playing Reading on the new surface.

Any chance of the God's making this happen?

Our fixture list going forward is congested enough as it is

True enough Chief but I would suggest a postponement of a game on that appalling cabbage patch is a price worth paying. It would also give the players a little rest

That means Barnsley will have there players rested as well, all the teams in the Championship are in the same boat, just get on with it, playing a football match twice a week and getting good money for doing so is a great way to make a living.

Exactly they are elite athletes. It’s not like the old days where we could be playing up in Carlisle on a Friday night then down in Exeter on Saturday.

The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

Exactly. I think it's very much the case that Cooper needs to be clever with his rotation and substitutions too.
We are in a better place than some teams. Some teams have a smaller squad than us with less quality too.
Not forgetting the players didn't lose out on wages through the pandemic either, they can make the extra effort for the fans and to be fair, I think they have.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

It's the same for all teams.
Cooper should be able to assess every player's physical and mental condition and inspire or rest as appropriate. Either we have 10 players who he has no faith in or he's no man manager.
Or both.
From outside it looks like there is no point having on the books! He may or may not be a better CF than the winger Lowe but we will probably never find out.
Would a return to a four man defence for a few games allow him to use Naughton and Manning to their potential and give Connor and Bidwell a break pay dividends? Would the rather more unpredictable Palmer over the slow and steady Grimes add to the attacking potential; maybe the inclusion of Dhanda and Routledge or Garrick we would see more flair (yes with errors)?
