Folarin Balogun will play next season where he wants to play. It does not depend on Arteta or Arsenal. If the lad wants to play for Cooper he can sign a deal today with a development fee going to Arsenal. Swansea however will be wary of tapping up the player. This is a careful line Cooper has to take to avoid bad relations. Publically asking for a loan is a good way of indicating interest in the player without spooking Arsenal.

Baloguns agent will be thinking cash but the player may be concerned by his own personal development and will have seen the Brewster example and might have even spoken to him. It has to be said the even for such a promising player Winter would be unlikely to approve the wages requiredfor a permanent signing.

As Keith said, not going to happen, Arsenal have this in their hands if they offer him the right deal. This will come down to money and a bit of sense, Arsenal hold the cards. Get him contracted at a club is his agents job, get him on loan is ours.

OK I've changed it.

Hard to see how Arsenal have all the cards. Saka, Martinelli, Nketia are three young players ahead of him all demanding game time. This is in addition to Aubamiyang and Lacazette. How can they possibly guarentee him game time? He is also probably demanding silly money.
