Oh I don't know, I reckon appointing Sunak was also a good decision.

Sunak is best remembered for ‘eat out to help out’ .. in the middle of a pandemic. 130,000 people died. 🤡

Borrowed loads of money and still refused Welsh Govt request. We have nothing to thank Sunak for.

Johnson deserves zero credit Lazy and entitled.

I did think than until he and the treasury put the block on children’s catch up finding. £1.4 billion and when you take a half a billion that’s ‘old money’ it’s almost the same amount of dosh put into catch up that was spent on Eat Out to Help Out.

It is actually £4.4 billion . £ 3 billion has already been allocated.
Never allow facts to get in the way of bigotry.

That works out to £125 for every taxpayer to pay.

Gwyn does have a point in that the Uk is putting much less money towards this than other countries. Bojo did make a promise and he has failed on that quite badly.

1.4 billion = £50 per pupil per year.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Depending on how you slice it it's between £50 and £310 per pupil.

This compares to £1600 in the US and £2500 in the Netherlands.

And of course the issues with the earlier money forced into the National Tutoring Programme from which companies like SERCO creamed off around 70% before outsourcing.

This is why politicians and big business like complicated systems, a complicated system is much easier to milk, it's much less transparent. As it turns out though keeping things simple just isn't that easy!
