Thank goodness much of Wales called out Mark Drakeford and Welsh Labour when he initially told the Welsh public that he was going to slow down the vaccination rollout because he didn't want to see vaccinators standing around with nothing to do when Wales has used all its available vaccine doses.

Thankfully the UK government ordered enough vaccines earlier enough so the vaccine rollout could start early throughout the UK, the British overseas territories and the Crown dependencies. |  |

Just as well Westminster sourced the vaccines then, without that I wonder where Wales would be right now. If we'd gone Indy what situation would we be in now? Drakeford likes to take his time, if he'd been responsible for procurement of vaccines, we could be like the African countries and only vaccinated 10% and what a mess we'd be in then.
On the other hand, I guess Bojo had to get something right, eventually!
The UK has done better than every European country aart from Malta and not many countries worldwide are doing better than us either. That Wales is top of the Uk is fantastic. Lets see if Drakeford can match that success in other areas? | |

Complete failure to understand that the UK has done better...in vaccination roll out. Twpsyn. We were OUT of the EU but still using their legislation, if we were IN the EU we couldn't have purchased our own when we did, we'd have to have waited for the EU.
