That was Messiesque.

Best bit for me was Dhanda waiting and then playing a weighted ball into Bidwells run for the cutback to Piroe. Just one phase of play but reminded me of Celina or even Pablo.

I’m not a huge Dhanda fan, he’s been too inconsistent for me, but he’s obviously got talent.

There were passages of play last night even before we scored the second that they couldn't get near us, one touch , movement off the ball looking for space to receive , players awareness was all there , Bidewell and Dhanda linked up well throughout and you could see the difference with Whittaker's growth spurt during the summer , a really enjoyable game to watch

Absolutely. I’ve been one of Dhandas harshest critics by my word he was excellent last night. Real competition through the midfield three now.

Piroe - well just amazing. He could either be an argumentative awkward sod who gets shunted out to the reserves or someone who will go for a record transfer fee.

As for the squad and coaching staff - they’re listed as 41/1 to win the division. Less fancied than Millwall and twice as less as Cardiff! Russ should pin the odds to the dressing room wall on Saturday and tell them they’ve got a free hit against SU as expectations are so low. Go and batter Em boys!!!

It did seem like we'd gone back in time.
Thankfully.

Its early days and much tougher opposition to come , but the seeds look like they've been planted in the players heads

The last Piroe chance wasn’t shown on the Sky highlights. He was unlucky not to get a hat trick

I know. I really like the look of him. I can't see where we are going to find someone better than him for the #9 shirt.

I know it's only one match, against some kids, but he does look that much better than the rest.
