I quite like it. Less cynical, although getting there now men are coaching. No obsession with tables, winning and all that bollox neither. The players seem to really enjoy it. It will all be spoiled by money or men. Nailed on.

Get no joy from them winning , likewise no disappointment if they lost. Absolutely no emotional involvement. Take that out of sport, especially with a lower quality offering. Just not bothered. I watch other sport as just a viewer, but it's the top competing usually, quality. Each to their own.

It's about the emotional attachment for me too. Without it there is no impetus to watch. That's why I struggle with watching any other football. I had the North London Derby on but barely watched it and turned off before half time. I struggled to watch the Ryder cup this year too which is unusual for me.I think the pandemic must have affected me! That's why I don't understand people who talk about it without emotion, people like Andy Cole who rubbish us 'emotional thinkers' because without emotion where is the atmosphere, where is the excitement?
