This was Derby County today,a club on the bones of their buttocks.
Somebody adduce some evidence Russ can progress us.
For me,it is all about how we can see him out of the club before the damage is irrepairable.
Us morons are not all dumb and more seem to be joining the ranks of doom and gloomers,naysayers and those who hate being BStitted by an abject clown of a coach.
Finally,young Whittaker should leave the club. This is a decent lad with potential being denuded by someone who for whatever reason despises him.

Derby aren’t a bad side, their position is obviously down to the points deduction.
They are a very average side though. Probably looking at around a 14th/15th/16th place finish if no deduction.
But today we did the same thing we always do. Lots of pointless possession, not much cutting edge.
Insisting on short passes. Same strange subs. Same personnel preferred over others without merit.
Time doesn’t come into it when he keeps doing the same things that don’t work.

There is no denying that our play has improved up to a point.
The problem is the improvements do not win games.
Our uselessness around the penalty area is, if anything getting worse.
Subs after 80 minutes do not give players time to get up to speed and smack of absolute panic after 85 minutes. | | | |

I can see some validity to points raised about not fully utilising possession. But, as has been said, Derby have gained quite a few points (and beat Stoke at home). They are nota bottom of the table side. Also, in fairness to Russ he cannot legislate for Bidwell's miss, two really bad misses against Millwall, similarly in he first half against Huddersfield and Downes' miss against Fulham. There have been enough clear chances made to have won games. He can't score them.
We have a couple of very important players to come back so I am trying to remain cautiously optimistic. Time will tell but continued lambasting is, in my opinion, a little unfair. | | | |
