The early 90s 4-4-2 is back tonight.

Not done too badly considering. They're very obviously way better technically. Poor marking on crosses led to the goals.

Dan Williams struggled a lot the first 15 minutes, panicked and turned the ball over practically every time it came to him. But got a lot better, started turning his way out of trouble instead of into it. Someone needs to have a word about going to ground in every challenge though. Hurt one of their players already, foot over the ball and studs showing.

Brandon Cooper surprisingly quiet game. Done fine so far.

They've brought a £9m right back on as sub. Not sure anyone will be hosting crisis meetings despite the scoreline. Maybe if we had Neco on our team. Doesn't need to be in the seniors with Gunter around.

I liked Joe Adams back when he was at Bury. Time at Brentford B hasn't seen him push on. Looks every bit a scruffy Sunday league player, not a professional sportsman. Over the same period Sam Pearson's added some muscle to his legs and gained senior experience at non-league level.

Wales have always struggled at underage level. They used to forget about the u19 and promote their player up to have at least a half decent u21 squad. The u19 had a win draw and a heavy loss to Norway. These results are mixed as serious rotation occurs for 3 games in a week.

its a shame they do not show some of the resilience shown by the limited Estonian team against Wales. Estonia have been a push over for years but have found a physical Burnley style to ask some questions.

A number of players missing include eligible Ampadu, Cabango, Levitt, Neco, Brennan Johnson and Colwill first team. Matondo dropped from first team squad. Huggins injured. Two Wolves eligible u23 players who seem to be keeping their options open. Chem Campbell and Owen Hesketh,

Welsh national teams always look slow, and careless in possession.

Wise sage since Toshack era
