Footballers are so thick sometimes it’s almost unbelievable.

My brother still can't taste or smell.

There are quite a few of these planks around. They'll be along soon enough to spout their rubbish.

BBC Radio 4 news programme yesterday. One medical research team spokeswoman explaining data and how virulent Omicron is but also saying we haven’t been aware of it long enough to be definitive about its affect on health but evidence from previous surges and variants suggest it could be really dangerous and countries should be very cautious. All precautions are sensible and the greater the uptake the better it will be. She was followed by four others (politician, travel, hospitality and someone described as championing citizens' rights) all pitching the folly of precautions. Given the latest polls show 90+% support for more restrictions (in England, from last week, overwhelming support for introducing the actions taken inScotland and Wales) the BBC is not only failing to represent the general public, it are hyping up the anti groups way beyond their actual level of importance (just as it did with UKIP).
