The curse of the plastic. It's endemic in South Wales and it affects Cardiff too but obviously they have a larger population & metropolitan area.
It has got better than it was 15-20 years ago, far more kids wearing Swans gear but it's still depressing when you see kits for the big English sides in South Wales. |  |

The big team up with JD Sports for example. They were going to stock kit etc.
But go into any JD shop outside Swansea and you won't see a Swans shirt. They did have 2 x 12 year old shirts in Merthyr store a few weeks ago, no others.
None at all in Aberystwyth, but plenty of Swans fans up there.
Don't get me started on tickets.

In all the hype of our new stadium opening there was talk of tickets being available ( in person, not internet) through several vendors in Swansea and beyond.
Never came to fruition, even in our more successful days rising up towards the Premier League

Always remember going there 1991/1992 about 40 of us sitting in their pub The Silver Cod
by 11:30 and they started coming in 1 by 1 then turning around and going back out gob smacked we were in there, they then attacked the their pub later on putting windows through with us lot in there but they wouldn't come in....strange lot .
There was a pitch invasion that day aswell from Swansea City fans there was some pictures of that day on the old PS site, we all then randomly went to Blackpool for the night and ended up bumping into Huddersfield fans in the Mr Brewsters pub
