One of our greatest athletes ever yet one who has had to put up with doping allegations, like some others of real calibre. We love to build then knock down sportspeople. | |

| Sir Mo Farah reveals he was trafficked to the UK as a child on 14:53 - Jul 12 with 1141 views | Wingstandwood | He will not be sent back, it seems that he was an unaccompanied by any close relative of his, the impression I get is the person responsible for his documents, travel and slave labour exchange/hand-over was an intermediary and not a family member. Thus he was well and truly a victim of child trafficking. IMO it was all probably a desperate act from his desperate mother going through desperate times who thought that he was going to have a better life. And he did many years later but it could have ended up completely and totally different and an utter tragedy! Not many kids become world class athletes hey? *Edit* I know a few years back a story made a few national newspapers about him having passport difficulties going through U.S Customs. I wonder if the difficulty he experienced was related to his false I.D? [Post edited 12 Jul 2022 15:08]
