Everything Russell Martin said after defeating Bristol City 19th Mar 2023 16:03
Swansea City defeated rivals Bristol City in a decent game at the Swansea.com stadium 2-0. Russell Martin most certainly believed his team deserved the win and Robins manager Nigel Pearson agreed. Goals from Liam Cullen and Olivier Ntcham sealed the deal. 0

We did deserve the win, we were much the better team which isn't saying much really because Bristol are poor.
We are 10 points clear now which is important but lets not get carried away by one win over a poor side. I read OTJ's comments on BBC, at 14.40...

Yes we are happy with the win but one win does not wipe away all that's wrong and that has been wrong for a long time now. It's still 4 wins in 21 which is still relegation form. We have criticised Martin because he deserved it and the big question for me is, will he stick with the 4-1-3-2 now or revert to type?

The obvious answer is stick with 4-1-3-2 because, just like our 6 wins in 7, we look much better in it. It cant be a coincidence that we abandon wing backs and we play much better.

I wonder if other teams forums say it was only Swans and they are a poor, when they beat us.

Some people find it hard to give credit where credit is due

We are the first Welsh club to reach the Premier League Simples
