Loved a drink, loved a cigarette and loved his dogs. Done a lot of work with animal rescue charities and I'm sure he will leave battersea dogs home a few quid

Travel well Paul

Think he was born and broughtup in your part of the world i.e. Wirral?

Apparently he was a lovely and genuine fella, and the villagers from the place where he lived absolutely adored him. He was exactly the same off screen as on.

Argus!

He grew up in Higher Tranmere ,Birkenhead, overlooking Cammell Lairds.

As with Swansea, being a hard ,” working class “ town, the women were strong and tough .
They had to be .

Didn't like him as Lily Savage, but thought he came over as a very caring and genuine person as Paul O'Grady.
R.I.P. Mr Nice man.
