| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I think it's worth pointing out that back in 2020 when the proposals were in the early stages of being debated seven out of the eleven Conservative MS's voted for the proposal and only one voted against. There were two abstentions and one Non Vote ! So the point is that it wasn't the Labour Government pushing this idea through. The vote was 45 for and six against.

But on the plus side, at least your wheels won’t get as damaged by the potholes they can’t afford to fill.

This is also the prat who wants us to stop usin our cars but who made an expenses claim for over 12000 miles driving from his Penarth base to his constituency in Llanelli. Edited to point out that 12k is over 230 miles per week, over 52 weeks. It's around 57 miles one way, 114 there and back, why would he be making that trip twice per week EVERY week? I didn't respond to your question because I didn't have much to say really. I haven't followed in much detail what he's been up to, outside of the is 20 mph thing, and what the result of his other efforts has been to make an objective comment. I went on about the 20 mph thing because Dr W for example referred to him as being 'largely responsible' for it. But, as I say, virtually the whole of the Senedd including Tories thought it was worth voting for originally. He may have been one of the main instigators of the idea in the first place but if it was such a rubbish idea surely people wouldn't have voted to take it further.
