To have a stable club on the pitch you need a very stable one off it. And at last it seems this is the case after several years of indecision at Swansea City. You cannot fault though the appointments on the coaching front, but the caution away from there has been a frustration. 0

I'm not sure ever evolving shareholding and new senior appointments really consititutes stability.

I'd characterise the current situation as change with some football appointments with decent track records. As ever, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating in what looks to be a highly competitive championship this season.

Not sure how our current position can be described as stable!
New CEO, new board members, new shareholders, new manager and coaching squad.
While their credentials might be more appealing they can only be called stable on their longevity.
Also missing from the piece is credit for the consortium’s handling of finances that has seen us remain competitive and fairly appealing to staff and investors.

It’s a breakdown of Coleman’s initial comments and a reflection of them. It’s odd, spoke to someone at the club earlier and they saw it as a negative report 💁🏻‍♀️ Ah well.

I read it as critical of the past, but positive for the now. Strange how we can all read the same thing and view it differently.

Compared to the off field shenanigans going on at other clubs, we have been the model of stability in recent years. Still areas to improve in of course, but small tweaks required rather than major issues to be resolved.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Yes that's how I read it as well.

Seemed a fair reflection of where we are at.
Possibly could of mentioned that Levein and Kaplan and more recently Silverstein have done their best to run us sustainably, but they have done well to find the new investment to try and move the club forward.

But the bottom line will depend on what happens on the pitch.

And the loss of Manning and almost certainly Piroe and maybe Grimes as well have left Duff with a difficult job.

But I am happy the way it's all coming together.

If Piroe and Grimes go they seriously need their ducks lined up.
